Umid Sayfuddinov from the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) Professor Costas Gregoriou from Cyprus introduced the participants of the seminar on “Creating pomegranate gardens, winter adaptation methods and measures against pests” and gave a lecture on this topic by Costas Gregoriou. In the lecture professor talked about identifying and combining pomegranate diseases, preventing severe climatic damage (colds, sunburn), defective fruit quality, protection of young trees, frost-damaged trees, poor quality of fruit, and fruit cracking. and provided information, handouts, and practical skills on what to do. Workshop participants were very interested in slides, handouts, and practical skills and received answers to all their questions.
