On the basis of biotechnological research conducted in the laboratory, plants suitable for soil-climatic conditions are selected or multiplied on the basis of microclonal methods. Biological and physiological characteristics of plant growth and development in vitro conditions are studied.

The laboratory has 3 units of the laminar box installed, 4 units in vitro rooms where plants callus tissue and cultured samples are grown, and 12000 lk wavelength light supply has been established. In all rooms of the laboratory, bacteriocid lamps were installed.
