SA-2018-004 On the basis of applied research on the theme “Establishment of biotechnological collection of pomegranate (Punica granatum L.) and technology for the production of pathogen-free seedlings”, 24 breeds of pomegranate pomegranate and 1 American (Vondeful) and biotechnological collections of varieties from Afghanistan (Tashqurgon anori). Also pathogen-free seedlings created by biotechnological methods are grown at Gulistan State University’s experimental areas and at the “Asar anor” farmers’ cooperative in Mirzaabad district. The composition of the cultivated pomegranate fruits is analyzed in the laboratory “Experimental Biology”, which determines quality indicators and pharmacological properties.
